Next Meeting: Tuesday, September 15!!

We will be meeting online via Zoom on Tuesday, September 15 at 7:00 PM.

(Rescheduling after the evacuation warning/alerts of last week and all the resultant hubbub)

On Monday (9/14), I will e-mail the Zoom link for our meeting to everyone on our current e-mail list along with a request to send me the writings that you all wish to be read and workshopped by the group by Tuesday noon. Then I will e-mail these writings in a single PDF document to the group on Tuesday afternoon.

You may print up the writings and read them before our meeting, or you may read them from a separate device than the one you are using for Zoom.

If anyone wants to join us and didn't send me their writings, they may read their work aloud and receive some feedback. If someone would like to attend who isn't part of our group, you may send me their e-mail, and I will forward them the e-mail with the Zoom link plus the group's writings for the Zoom meeting.

If you aren't on our e-mail list, please contact me via e-mail and I'll be happy to add you: Booklovingbunch@aol.com. Conversely, if you no longer wish to receive e-mails from this group, please reply to the email I send with your request to unsubscribe. Thank you!!

Everyone interested in writing is welcome to attend--we'd love to have you!! We are meeting monthly; I just don't always get the announcements posted here!! ;)

Let's continue writing bravely during this time of challenge. Once the libraries reopen fully, we will discuss how we will proceed with our meetings.

Writing with you,

"Read, read, read. Read everything--trash, classics, good and bad, and see how they do it. Just like a carpenter who works as an apprentice and studies the master. Read! You'll absorb it. Then write. If it's good, you'll find out. If it's not, throw it out the window." ~William Faulkner

Next Meeting: Tuesday, June 16

We will be meeting online via Zoom on Tuesday, June 16 at 7:00 PM.

(Yes, this is the third Tuesday of the month, but I have been buried in teaching a very wonderful but extremely draining online Shakespeare class to homeschoolers, so we moved our meeting up a week. We will resume meeting on the second Tuesday in July).

I will be e-mailing the Zoom link to everyone on our current list along with the writings sent to me to read and be workshopped. You may print up the writings and read them before our meeting, or you may read them from a separate device than the one you are using for Zoom.

If anyone wants to join us and didn't send me their writings, they may read their work aloud and receive some feedback. If they aren't part of our group, you may forward them the e-mail with the link.

If you aren't on our e-mail list, please contact me via e-mail and I'll be happy to add you: Booklovingbunch@aol.com
